Carl's Corner Letter B - This comes with a sheet of things to color, cut and paste to the letter.
Bears, Butterfly & Letter B Sponge Painting
Invest in some Alphabet and misc. sponges for crafts like this. They are about $2 or $3 per bag at Walmart. Also available from school supply stores. We use ours to make a page like this for every letter we are learning from September through May. Parents are encouraged to take them home and post them where the child can see and practice every day. When we finish the entire alphabet they can make them into a book or put them into a binder.
Bat Puppet From Mailbox Magazine. Email me for pattern. These are best laminated for durability. Use a white crayon to write a "B" on the back before laminating.
Bat HatGlue wings onto two strips of back construction paper and staple to the size of child's head. Children can some glue eyes to the front as well. Stamp with white paint and letter sponges around the band.
Group Time Activity
Bouncing For B's
Tell children to stand in a circle. Then have them bounce a ball to each other and say a word beginning with the letter B. Start by saying the word book, and then bounce the ball to a child in the circle. The child mist then say a B word, such as box, and then bounce the ball to another child. Keep playing until everyone has said at least two words.
